Rangement de printemps? Oubliez pas votre trousse cosmétique!

Spring cleaning? Don't forget your makeup bag!

Over time, our makeup bag accumulates forgotten, expired, or less suitable products for our skin. Spring is the perfect time to sort through them and start a healthier, more conscious routine.

1. Take inventory

Start by taking out all your products: makeup, skincare, brushes, accessories…
This step allows you to clearly see what you actually own.

2. Check each product

Each product deserves careful inspection:

  • Check the PAO (6M, 12M, 24M) and the expiration date, if available

  • Observe the texture, smell, and color

  • Analyze if you really use it

⚠️ Expired or altered cosmetics can harm your skin's health.

3. Sort consciously

Divide your products into three categories:

✔️ To finish: products that are still good
To discard: expired or altered products
♻️ To repurpose: some products can have a second life (artistic DIY with pigments...)

Regarding our range, the contents can be composted, some containers can be refilled or placed in a recycling bin. For our glass containers in Montreal, you can drop them off at our collection point.

4. Clean to start fresh

Once sorted, take the time to clean your brushes, sponges, and containers. These tools accumulate bacteria and impurities that can affect your skin's health.

Regarding our vegetable sponge, gentle and regular cleaning helps to prolong its lifespan; after 6 months of use, it goes to the compost.

5. A kit aligned with your values

Take advantage of this moment to rethink your true needs.
If you want to acquire a new product, prioritize: local, transparent, and eco-responsible brands, as well as products without harmful ingredients for health and the environment.

Once your essentials are identified, it becomes easier to build a routine you like, without wasting resources, money, or time.

And what if you simplify your routine with versatile products like our Universal Balm or our Universal Stick?
